Jameson’s Distillery Pub has been our club’s main sponsor since 2019, and since then, we have enjoyed many nights there. Jameson’s is our primary destination whenever we have a major social event, such as trophy celebrations, Pop-Up Gaeltachts, get-togethers to watch GAA and more. Similarly, several of our players and members have worked there.
Jameson’s offers a great night out with plenty of choices on the food and drinks menu, with Guinness, Kilkenny, Kölsch and Becks on tap. There is also an impressive selection of whiskeys – including Scotch and (of course) Irish whiskeys. Foodwise, they offer traditional Irish meals such as Irish Stew, Fish and Chips, Cottage Pie, and Steak and Ale Pie, alongside their House Specialities and the Sunday Roast (on Sundays… obviously). My recommendation is the Grilled Chicken: Jameson’s Style.
There is a brilliant atmosphere at Jameson’s, with plenty of weekly events. Karaoke dominates the weekend with the Jameson Karaoke Weekend every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while you can listen to Live Music on Thursdays and enjoy the Pub Quiz on Mondays.
Our friends at the Städteverein Köln-Cork are also regular attendees at Jameson’s and host their meetings there every second month. Make sure to visit their website to find out more about their activities.
