To launch our environmental awareness programme at the Cologne Celtics, we took part in litter picking along the Rhein. On Thursday morning (03.06.21) we braved the wet weather and collected several sacks full of cigarette butts, bottle caps, face masks, take-away containers and other discarded waste.
This was a chance for us to do something small but positive for our beautiful Domstadt Köln. AWB, Abfallwirtschaftsbetriebe Köln GmbH & Co. KG were kind enough to equip us with gloves and bags for the task.
