Cologne Celtics 2023: Our Year

2023 was an enormous year for the Cologne Celtics; as our club once again grew in membership, we competed in more tournaments than ever, launched our youth section and had many more incredible achievements. Benelux Development Football Tournament Report: Round 3 Nijmegen – 11.11.2023

The Nijmegen leg of the Benelux Gaelic Football Developmental Tournament (Round 3) showcased a day of fierce competition on November 11th, 2023. Teams from Cologne, Den Haag, Maastricht, Leuven, and hosts Nijmegen gathered for the tournament. After an action-packed year, this tournament was the last of our Gaelic Football tournaments in 2023.

Benelux Development Football Tournament Report: Round 2 Cologne – 21.10.2023

On October 21st, we held our first Benelux Gaelic Football tournament with teams and players from Leuven, Maastricht and Nijmegen taking part in a full day of Gaelic football action in Ladies and Men’s football. Here is our report from the day.

Ger Cronin’s Marathon Stories

Ger Cronin is our club’s first youth officer and is also an experienced marathon runner and triathlete. In this article, he shares stories from five marathons he has completed. From his first marathon in Dublin to reaching the Holy Grail in Frankfurt, and returning to running in Paris, this makes for a great read!

European Hurling/Camogie Championship Round 5 Maastricht – 30.09.2023

Round 5 of the 2023 European Hurling and Camogie Championships brought us to Maastricht. Our players left everything on the pitch, and represented us incredibly well. Unfortunately, we couldn’t defend our shield trophy but we still added some more victories to our European adventures. Bring on 2024! Report by Frank O’Connor.

Cologne Celtics Family Day 2023: 19th August 2023

Benelux Gaelic Football Championship Final Round: Nijmegen. 17.06.2023
